H. Bettoney Silva-Bet Albert System Bb clarinet #S922
$1050 Good condition. I'd guess the year of manufacture to be 1925.
I've just completed a 'Complete Mechanical Overhaul' for this 'rare' bird.
The Silva-Bet may be the first popular 'metal clarinet'. I've never seen another Albert version.
It's set up with all white leather 'Roo' pads. Some plating wear. Key system is in great shape.
The Silva-bet features a tunable barrel joint, which works perfectly.
Comes in its original case.
