Selmer 'Super Balanced Action' baritone saxophone - Overhaul
Another 'photo-travelogue', documenting a huge job.
This well-played and super rare/prototype baritone arrived at the workshop looking sad. Because this horn is such a rare thing I tried to snap alot of photos of the more 'prototype' like bits.
Quite a lot of work to straighten all the tubing out, get the metal parts hand polished, key system completely re-built. It was fitted out with a set of white Roo pads. Since the original resonators were long gone I used a set of the 'Pisoni' resos you see in a modern Selmer.
